Cocktail Recipe Generator
Pourtrait is a novel bar experience that transforms indecision into a playful moment of surprise. Think of it like a photobooth — but instead of just a picture, guests walk away with a custom cocktail or mocktail recipe tailored to their taste. Simply step up, select your flavor and strength preferences, snap a photo, and receive a printed keepsake with your personalized drink.
Designed for weddings, parties, and brand activations, Pourtrait adds a unique, memorable touch to any event with a bar.
The idea grew out of my own experience as a guest — overwhelmed by options and pressure at the bar — and became a creative solution blending personalization, interaction, and physical mementos.
Originally developed in an AI + Design course at Cornell AAP, Pourtrait evolved into a startup project supported by Rev: Ithaca Startup Works. It received grant funding and was selected for the 2025 Prototyping Hardware Accelerator, where it was refined through user interviews, technical iteration, and real-world testing. It has since been accepted into the Protofacturing Accelerator to move toward manufacturing and launch.
